Our tier-specific benefits are carefully curated, with valuable insights derived directly from our community's feedback. Your input plays a pivotal role in steering our development efforts in the right direction. Furthermore, these benefits are thoughtfully customized to cater to the distinct requirements of members at various stages of their professional journey, taking into account factors such as years of experience.
You can apply through the application portal on our website. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation notice with details about the decision timeline.
Our Membership team reviews each application to ensure all necessary information is provided. The evaluation of the member tier level is based on an experience rubric.
The turnaround time for application processing is up to seven business days.
Membership rates are based on a balance between the benefits offered and accessibility, aiming to be equitable and in line with industry standards.
There is a standard application fee of $45 for most tiers, with the exception of Student and Educator memberships, which have their application fee waived. It's important to note that as a nonprofit organization, these administrative fees play a vital role in supporting the human resources and time dedicated to delivering exceptional membership services.
We are pleased to extend invitations to existing Promax members to apply for G.E.M.A. The newly established tier-based membership model is designed to enhance the support and services we provide, tailored to each member’s career journey. Applicants are requested to submit their applications for the tier level that best suits their qualifications. Promax members interested in transitioning to G.E.M.A. will have their application fee waived. If you are currently a Promax member, your benefits will be honored until expiration, at which time you will be required to submit an application to become a G.E.M.A. member. Join us in expanding our community.
Each tier has specific qualifications and benefits. For instance, Emerging Professionals typically have less than 6 years of experience and receive career development support and event access. Experienced Professionals, with 6-15 years of experience, get mentorship and wellness programs, among other benefits. Established Professionals, with over 15 years of experience, have access to high-level opportunities like speaking events and Board of Governors consideration.
We offer special considerations such as special membership pricing, waiving the application fee, the option to pause membership, and access to job boards and community resources.
Yes, members enjoy a range of exclusive perks, including discounted services, special offers, and rates from various business partners, enhancing their professional and personal growth.
