AMC Networks is offering fans “TwELFth Days of Giveaways” through Friday, December 12, when AMC will feature a back-to-back 8-hour marathon of holiday favorite, Elf, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. 

Each day of the sweepstakes features a themed prize package filled with licensed Elf items including apparel, home goods and more. To enter, viewers must tune in to AMC to discover the Word of the Day, and then submit it at the website above for their chance to win. The sweepstakes culminates December 12 with a $1,212 grand prize for one lucky winner.

The sweepstakes is part of AMC’s annual “Best Christmas Ever” programming event that runs through December 26. With more than 600 hours of holiday films, AMC’s lineup remains the exclusive cable home for such modern-day holiday favorites as Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express, Four Christmases and Fred Claus. The month-long programming event also features such classics as White Christmas, the Rankin/Bass holiday stop-motion collection, and family favorite, The Wizard of Oz, which is available on AMC this year for the first time. 

The month-long events also includes several holiday-themed nights (times are ET/PT): 

• Christmas All The Way Marathon: The Polar Express, Elf, The Wizard of Oz on December 6 at 5 p.m.

• Holiday Hijinks Marathon on December 7 at 4 p.m. featuring National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elf, The Great Outdoors and Trading Places.

• Christmas Candy Marathon on December 9 at 4 p.m. celebrating some of John Candy’s greatest films including The Great Outdoors; Spaceballs; Planes, Trains & Automobiles and National Lampoon’s Vacation.

• Of course, Elf on the TwELFth features an eight-hour marathon of modern-day classic Elf running back to back.

• The Merry ‘80s Marathon travels back in time December 13 at 11:00 a.m. to feature National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation; Scrooged; Planes, Trains & Automobiles; The Great Outdoors; Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.

• Best Elf Marathon on December 14 at 4:30 p.m. features Elf, Fred Claus and The Polar Express.

• That’s Not Santa! Marathon on December 19 at 6:30 p.m. features Elf, Trading Places and Fred Claus.

• Naughty or Nice Weekend on December 20 at 9:45 a.m. and running through December 21 features films on Santa’s lists including Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, The Polar Express, Four Christmases and more. 

• Best Christmas Marathon runs from December 24 through December 25 with such holiday favorites as Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, Four Christmases, The Polar Express, Fred Claus, The Wizard of Oz and more. 

• And finally, Holiday Hangover recovery begins December 26 at noon and includes Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Four Christmases and Scrooged.
