Before the start of Monster Week 2025, Blaze TV decided to try and get up close and personal with some of its stars, including Sasquatch, Yeti, giant snakes, the Skinwalker, mega sharks, killer bees and the Moth Man. Some are more camera-friendly than others.

The spot was created using AT tools Flow VEO3, Sora, Midjourney and ChatGPT. The monsters’ voices are provided by actual humans.

“This was an opportunity to embrace AI, and expand the campaign from a simple make into a promo, on-air bumpers, social elements and key art,” wrote Hearst Networks EMEA Creative Director Kevin Rixon in an email.

Hearst Networks EMEA, which was rebranded from A+E Networks EMEA last September, is fully owned by Hearst. Blaze UK is operated under a joint venture between Hearst Networks UK and Sky, along with Sky History and Crime + Investigation.

Free-to-air TV channel Blaze UK can be found on the Freeview, Freesat, Sky and Virgin platforms, as well as on its website. The programming is mostly unscripted shows – such as Storage Wars, Mountain Men, Pawn Stars and Forbidden History, as well as some monster content – drawn from A&E Network’s library.

Monster Week starts Monday, August 18 on Blaze UK.
