USA Network’s The Rainmaker tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended August 17, making it TV’s most-promoted show for a second week in a row.

Remarkably, this week’s ranking is actually an exact repeat of last week’s list of shows and order — though the total impression numbers for each show’s promos vary from week to week.

Once again, USA is joined by two fellow cable networks: Food Network, which promotes Chef Grudge Match in third place and The Great Food Truck Race in fifth; and HGTV, which builds excitement for Renovation Resort Showdown in fourth place.

The sole legacy broadcaster on the list: CBS, which hypes the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (which will air live on CBS and simulcast on MTV on Sunday, September 7) in second place.

Notably, Renovation Resort Showdown and The Great Food Truck Race are tied in having the highest iSpot Attention Index (125) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch their promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
