Fox News Channel’s promos for its news coverage lead the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended May 11, making it TV’s most-promoted programming.
Fox News is joined by two fellow cable networks: HGTV, whose renovation show Rock the Block drops to second place after several weeks at the top, and Food Network, which supports cooking competitions 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing and Cutthroat Kitchen in, respectively, third and fifth.
Rounding out the list is traditional broadcaster CBS, with Justin Hartley-starrer Tracker, broadcast TV’s top-rated entertainment series, in fourth place.
Notably, Fox News and Rock the Block are tied in scoring the highest iSpot Attention Index (132) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch their promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
Spotlight by GEMA has partnered with iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week’s most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
