Free streaming service Pluto TV is kicking off its annual “Summer of Cinema” programming initiative, bringing hundreds of blockbusters like Mission: Impossible, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Star Trek, Interstellar and Wolf of Wall Street to movie lovers all summer long.
To launch the initiative, Pluto has debuted a new marketing campaign emphasizing all of the streamer’s explosive content.
Pluto TV also is taking its “Summer of Cinema” into the real world. This Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, Pluto TV will be on hand at Los Angeles’ Westfield Century City with the Pluto TV Popcorn Challenge.
Participants will step into a giant popcorn box and be given 20 seconds to catch as much popcorn – and special golden kernels – as possible for the chance to win prizes, including Pluto TV beach kits, movie-night snack boxes, bluetooth headphones and speakers and more. They’ll also be able to enjoy a complimentary bag of popcorn as they wait their turn.
The challenge runs from noon to 8 p.m. PT each day.
Paramount-owned Pluto TV delivers hundreds of live linear channels and thousands of titles on-demand to a global audience. Pluto TV is accessible via mobile, web and connected TV devices. Its international footprint extends across four continents and more than 35 territories.
