Taking a nod from classic comedy Welcome Back, Kotter, ABC – with a little help from Studio City, Calif.-based The Shop – welcomes back Emmy-winning comedy Abbott Elementary with a super-sized episode on Wednesday, February 7.

Abbott Elementary, which was named outstanding comedy series in September 2022, is created by and stars Quinta Brunson, who also won the Emmy for best comedy writing. The series about dedicated teachers at an underfunded public school in Philadelphia also features Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, Emmy-winner Sheryl Lee Ralph and William Stanford Davis.
